For clinical professionals new to neurofeedback
Free consulting call up to 20 minutes

During this call, we'll answer your specific questions.  It could be equipment, courses, comparative information, practice building issues, questions about how neurofeedback works for a particular disorder, or any other issue.

For example, recently a clinician asked for a comparison of two different systems he had researched.  When we gave him pros and cons of those systems, he decided neither was optimum for what he was trying to do with his clients, who are abused, foster care type kids with pretty severe problems.  But that's just one example.  The question could have been anything - about qEEG's, how to explain it to colleagues (it's not always easy to explain), etc.

There's no obligation, no cost.  If you find it helpful and want to talk further, fine.  Then we click into consulting time.  If not, hopefully you've walked away with some useful information.

Email
If you prefer to do it by email, we'll consider it, but often that takes longer.

In neurofeedback, there are so many questions, that we can save you a lot of time in a short amount of time.  Typically, we need to ask enough about your background, experience, client population and goals to be able to respond appropriately.

The call host is Michael Cohen.  He's worked with hundreds of clinicians over many years, taught courses, and is familiar with many different approaches.

  1. Tell us your time and day preferences. We'll try to accommodate. Give multiple times and days if possible.
  2. If possible, the call will probably be scheduled in the evening or morning.

Our goal - to give you balanced information.  There are always multiple options, different approaches, different ways of explaining issues. Everything has its pros and cons.

Why are we doing this free call?
If you think the information we provide is helpful, and you decide to add neurofeedback to your practice, we hope you'll consider our consulting services.  Much of our help can be provided on the phone, on an hourly basis. We may enlist other experienced clinicians to support your specific requirements or patient population.

It takes a lot of time and effort to sort through all the options.  It also takes time to get started in neurofeedback. Our goal is to make you successful in neurofeedback faster. That's what our professional consulting service, Neurofeedback Solutions does. We help speed up the process of getting started.  We help you gain confidence and competence more quickly.  So you can see more clients faster.   We can help you choose what makes sense for your situation, equipment, training, and how to get the best pricing.

The biggest issue clinicians face is their learning curve.  Your payback comes from doing neurofeedback successfully with clients.  We can help find the right course, provide you with the right mentoring, and speed up your learning curve.   Not every experienced clinician is a good mentor.

Neurofeedback is not all about the EEG.  It's about applying clinical skills successfully with a new tool. You don't have to be in the know about EEG to do good clinical work. Learning more about it can help inform your clinical judgment.

Your on-call consultants
This is a dynamic field.  If you get in it, how do you keep up?  What's new that you might consider adding or learning?  We can help with that also.  Few clinicians have time to keep up with all the changes.  Many aren't relevant to every day clinical practice.  We can help you sort through it and give you useful practical information.

On-site training
There are courses available that are taught on a regular schedule.  Attending a really good course is typically where you'd want to start.  There are some situations where having on-site training could be appropriate.    We can help you figure out if that's appropriate.   If you can start seeing patients more quickly by having a more specialized on-site course, of if you have several staff to train, on site training could pay for itself.   If it fits your situation, we can help arrange the appropriate on-site training, and help have it customized appropriate to your requirements.
